AJMI WINS INTERNATIONAL "STEVIE" AWARD

Al Jazeera Media Institute has won a bronze award from the international "Stevie" Awards in the Conferences and Events category for the first edition of the Artificial Intelligence in Media Conference organized by the institute in March of last year.
Hamad Al Hawal, Manager of Planning and Projects at the institute, received the award during a special ceremony held in Rome on October 13.
Commenting on this achievement, Eman Al Amri, the Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, stated that the institute's win of this award is not a coincidence but rather the result of months of dedication and hard work.
Al Hawal added, "Winning this award represents international recognition by experienced and specialized professionals of the success achieved by the conference in its first edition. The institute has been preparing for months to organize the second edition of this conference, which discusses the state and future of the journalism profession in the face of the immense technological advancements we witness today."
Al Hawal praised the efforts of the team that worked on organizing the first edition of the Artificial Intelligence on Media Conference at Al Jazeera, considering organizing such conferences as a fundamental goal of the institute, which strives to keep pace with the latest advancements in tools, technologies, and media processing.
This year's Stevie International Business Awards ceremony was attended by more than 340 executives representing over 20 countries. Over 3,700 organizations from 61 countries competed for the award.
