Al Jazeera Media Institute launches 'Artificial Intelligence in Newsrooms' program

Al Jazeera Media Institute will launch on Thursday, August 21, a new program titled 'Artificial Intelligence in Newsrooms,' presented by Al Jazeera anchor Mariam Belaalia. The program targeted social media audiences of journalists and media students. It is part of a series of educational programs published by the Institute on its digital platforms to educate journalists and media students about the current state of journalism and its future amid rapid technological transformations.
The program seeks to shed light on the impact of artificial intelligence in developing newsrooms and journalistic practices. It explains the latest digital tools and applications that contribute to enhancing quality of media content and improving editorial and production processes, while also addressing professional and ethical challenges associated with AI use in newsrooms.
