Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers at Qatar University Visits the Institute

A student delegation from Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers at Qatar University visited Al jazeera Media sInstitute to learn about the experience of Arabic learning website of the Institute. In a brief presentation, student delegation was informed about the experience of Aljazeera over 27 years and its most prominent achievements in the field of training and development.
The delegation also took a tour to see Institute's facilities and television studios, watch some of courses currently under way at the Institute and got detailed explanations on Institute’s services and other information about different courses offered. During the visit, the delegation met with journalist and broadcaster Abdul Qader Ayyad, who introduced them to practical training procedures in the course “skills of dealing with media” and the importance of the Arabic language in this field.
The delegation praised the field tour and the opportunity to see the quantum of effort and work behind the scene in television environment in addition to enjoying on screen presentation, and Dr. Montaser Al-Hamad, Professor at the Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers at Qatar University, said, "We appreciate the permanent cooperation of Aljazeera Institute with the Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers and for hosting us in this visit, stressing the positive impressions left by the visit in the hearts of students, saying: These opportunities open spacious spaces for students to learn about importance of the Arabic language and its use in media institutions, as well as well as strengthening academic and cultural integration between the two institutions.
Dr. Montaser pointed out that the visit of Al jazeera Media Network represents a dream to many students who come from all countries of the world to Qatar University, as Aljazeera provides a pioneering model in Arab media, and has gained a symbolic position in the mind of the viewer in addition to its media and enlightenment role.
