The Institute concludes a “dealing with the media course” for diplomats

Al Jazeera Media Institute concluded a training course dedicated to a group of Arab ambassadors, focuses on enhancing media communication skills of diplomats and train them on how to react to growing media challenges.

The course was led by renowned media expert Mohammed Krishan and is designed to empower participants who hold important diplomatic positions with necessary skills they need to communicate effectively with media and interact positively in interviews of various media outlets, whether television, radio, or electronic.

The practical exercises cover public speaking techniques including speaking skills in front of camera, addressing audience, how to prepare for media interviews, dealing with media in times of crisis, controlling media messages, and enhancing ability to communicate effectively with different audiences.

This course is part of the Institute's efforts to promote effective media interaction among diplomats and enhance their understanding about the role of media in the era of rapid mass communication.
