The Institute organizes two workshops for the "Sayfona Ala Jawwak" program for girls

In the framework of Al Jazeera Ambassadors initiative, Al Jazeera Media Institute offered two workshops in cooperation with "Sayfona Ala Jawwak" program for girls organized by Al Khor Sports Club last Sunday evening.

Ragda Jamal, general coordinator of the Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative, led training in “story writing workshop” for children (from 6 to 10 years old). Ragda noted that this is the first time we deal with this age category in Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative as we believe in importance of story writing for children with the aim of stimulating their imaginative senses and improving their creative talents

While “mobile photography” workshop was led by Mohammed Al-Doss who trained around 17 trainees on story telling using mobile photography. He introduced trainees to principles of how to tell the story using rules of composition and image and then using their mobiles to practice that.   
   
Trainees showed remarkable interaction in both workshops, participant Hessa Al-Mohannadi said: I enjoyed the workshop a lot and learned how to write a story in a systematic order.

For her part, Noura Al-Thawi, General Supervisor of the "Sayfona Ala Jawwak" program for girls, praised the cooperation with Al Jazeera Media Institute, and pointed out that the Institute's workshops enrich the minds of the promising generation towards a better future, aware them and equip them with necessary skills in each field.
