The Institute winds-off the first training program for Vodafone Qatar Employees on media skills for public relations

As part of the cooperation memorandum signed between Al Jazeera Media Institute and Vodafone Qatar, the Institute concluded a specialized training course titled “Media Skills for Public Relations.” The course brought together 15 Vodafone and extended over five days to cover both theoretical and practical training.
The course designed to enhance skills of participants in analyzing the role of public relations in building institutional image and managing reputation, crafting clear media messages aligned with organizational goals, in addition to developing professional engagement skills with media outlets on various contexts. It also focused on effective planning and execution of media campaigns and activities. Moreover, it focusses on developing necessary tools for evaluating media performance and improving communication strategies.
Participants, in turn, praised the professional standard of the course, particularly diversity of practical exercises and their integration with theoretical content, constructive interaction between the trainer and trainees, and the easy access to educational materials and its direct relevance to work environment. They noted that training was engaging, informative, and rich in insights, with content fully aligned with the objectives of the program.
Fahad Al Hanzab, one of the participants in the course, commended the trainer’s expertise, highlighting clarity of presentation style and engaging delivery, as well as the practical examples that contributed to simplifying concepts and reinforcing understanding.
This course comes as part of a series of specialized programs offered by Al Jazeera Media Institute within the framework of its cooperation with Vodafone Qatar, aiming to develop tailored training programs that meet needs of Vodafone Qatar and contributing to enhancing efficiency of human resources and strengthening their skills in media and communication.
