Kazakh delegation visits Al Jazeera Media Institute to enhance joint cooperation

A delegation from Kazakhstan recently resumed its visits to Al Jazeera Media Institute to follow up existing areas of cooperation and reviewing implemented programs under media cooperation memorandum signed between the two sides, in addition to exploring the latest training programs in media and communication offered by the Institute.
 
The Kazakh delegation expressed its appreciation for the advanced level of equipment and outstanding training facilities, emphasizing, through Ms. Roshan Kazibayeva, director general of Kazakh Television and Radio Complex and importance of courses offered by the Institute and their role in developing media skills, especially as the joint cooperation in the past period resulted in several joint programs that strengthened partnership between both parties.

It worth mentioning that, cooperation between Al Jazeera Media Institute and academic and media institutions in Kazakhstan dates back to April 2024, when the Institute signed a memorandum of cooperation with Maksut Narikbayev University in Astana, in the presence of Iman Al- Amri, Director of the Institute, and Talat Narikbayev, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees. The memorandum resulted in launching specialized training programs and exchange of expertise in media fields.

Through this visit and previous programs, the Institute affirms its commitment to strengthening its regional and international partnerships, developing media practice and building professional and cultural bridges that contribute to supporting free media and exchanging knowledge off-border.
