Al Jazeera Media Institute is going to launch a “theatrical performance course” from 20 to 22 August for young age groups between 12 and 17 years.

It’s the first course of its kind for this age group, led by the famous voice expert Salem Al-Jahwashi, aiming to consolidate the concepts of theater and the role of theatrical performance, playwriting, acting and direction to promote and develop the love of this art among young age groups.

The course aims to help trainees build self-confidence and express their opinion freely, learn skills of perception, attention and concentration, and master concepts of theater and theatrical performance.

Course content will cover importance of theatrical performance and its role in shaping awareness, basics of the art of acting, writing and directing in addition to intensive exercises on voice and body language and methods of utilizing such skills in theatrical performance.
