As part of its e-learning programs, Aljazeera Media Institute is launching a new course titled " Artificial Intelligence and combating media disinformation," scheduled to run from April 21st. to April 23rd. Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of digital media and social media platforms, along with a genuine interest in investigative journalism and countering misinformation.

The course focuses on smart verification tools for images, videos, and widely circulated digital content. It equips participants with the essential skills to enhance content credibility and leverage technology in the service of truth. It also explores how artificial intelligence techniques can be used to detect misleading content and curb its spread.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to effectively use AI tools and techniques to verify images, videos, and digital content, as well as integrate AI applications into media practice to build fast and efficient fact-checking mechanisms.
