A student delegation from Zimbabwe visits Al Jazeera Media Institute

A student delegation consisting of 57 students from Edruval College in Zimbabwe visited Al Jazeera Media Institute to learn about training services the Institute provide and to closely see how television studios work.

In this context, accounting teacher, Mrs. Rupav Chawatama, who accompanied the delegation, said that students had a unique opportunity to see internal work in TV studios, and learn more about the technical and media operations through the detailed explanation provided by colleague Jana Al-Muslimani, a producer at the Al Jazeera Media Institute. Chawatama added that “the opportunity of facing the camera and reading news bulletins attracted students' attention and gave them a rare chance to practice and present news bulletin in a real media environment.

In the same context, students expressed their great admiration for what they saw during the visit, noting that this experience was inspiring and opened wide horizons for them to media, according to student Alyssa Kunaish, who stressed that such educational visits contribute significantly to motivating students and pushing them to explore new fields of work and encourage them to develop their personal and professional skills.

This visit comes within the framework of promoting educational tourism, which plays an important role in expanding students' perceptions and introducing them to new opportunities in different fields.
