AJMI – Doha

A Palestinian student delegation, of three female students specializing in digital journalism, visited Al Jazeera Media Institute headquarters last Monday morning as part of a cultural exchange grant from Education Above All Foundation. The visit was a field trip to learn about Al Jazeera Media Network and Al Jazeera Media Institute, and their various departments.
During a meeting hosted by Raghad Jamal from Media Initiatives Department, the delegation learned about the Institute's initiatives, training programs and objectives, as well as services provided to journalists and media professionals.
The delegation also visited Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English channels, as well as Al Jazeera Net website and Atheer platform. There, delegation members gained firsthand experience of work processes and mechanisms of news bulletins and program production. They also met with a number of media professionals and producers from various departments within the network.
This visit reflects the commitment of Al Jazeera Media Institute to fostering communication with students and contributing to their understanding of media work environment.
