He won the 2023 Africa Science Journalism Award for Most Innovative Story of the Year and has worked with outlets including Nation Media Group, Financial Mail, BBC Monitoring, Pan-African Visions, and Global Voices Africa.
A finalist in the African Story Challenge (2015) and the Zimeo Excellence Media Awards (2016), he also received a 2023 JamLab Africa grant to report on journalism innovation across the continent.

The dominant stories centre on the victimhood; especially during climate disasters. Such stories don’t mention the side of the continent’s efforts to adapt to climate change.
