AJMI and CAMS launch a training program in Kuwait

In the context of the strategic partnership between Al Jazeera Media Institute and CAMS Training Institute, the two parties are working on launching media training program consists of ten courses to be held in Kuwait during next November and December.
 
The program aims to develop media capabilities and to enhance professional skills of both individuals and institutions, in addition to keeping pace with developments in modern media in order to update requirements of media professionals and content creators to keep up with media labor market in Kuwait needs and the region in general.
 
The program includes a wide range of courses covering various fields including, dealing with media, content production for digital platforms, leadership skills development in the age of artificial intelligence, documentary production with mobile phones, arts of dubbing and voiceover, drone photography and food photography via mobile phones. Courses also cover advanced topics such as press conference organization, public speaking, television presentation techniques and media organizations planning and management.
The program also provides courses for young people such as, "Future presenter" and "Little speaker", with the aim of developing media skills among young people.
 
implementing this program comes within the framework of the partnership agreement signed at the beginning of this year, where the two parties stressed their commitment to apply standards of media editing and development of competencies according to an integrated training curriculum.
In this context, Mrs. Eman Al Ameri, director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, explained that the partnership will allow media professionals to benefit from the expertise of Al Jazeera, noting that since its establishment in 2004, the Institute has focused on providing advanced training programs supervised by professional media professionals, in a way that contributes to qualifying competencies in order to match with aspirations of media institutions and the public at large in Kuwait and the region.
 
For his part, Dr. Fahad Al-Nasser, CEO of CAMS Institute, pointed out that the agreement supports the Institute's strategy to empower individuals and develop their skills through specialized programs, stressing his interest in transferring expertise and enhancing media work quality in Kuwait and the region.
 
This program represents a platform to support skills development and refinement of media talents in line with media institutions requirements and transformations taking place in this sector, and at the same time contributes to improving performance quality, organizing media practices and keeping pace with current time challenges.
