within the strategy of social responsibility adopted by the Institute, Al Jazeera Media Institute administration met with 16 ambassadors from the Sustainable Development Goals initiative to help in promoting and supporting awareness of sustainable development principles.

In this meeting, administration of the Institute got acquainted with the ten initiatives emanating from the Sustainable Development Goals initiative. Each initiative was identified separately, such as the initiative of Al-Anoud Al-Hitmi which represents a comic (story in pictures) centered on sustainable development goals, reflecting and introducing them to young age groups, while the initative of Amna Al-Sada carried the title: “Supporting each other”, and focused on supporting the weakest circles in community chain such as debtors and the needy and reflecting such cases to get the due financial or moral support.

Al Jazeera Media Institute is one of supporters of the initiative of Ambassadors of Sustainable Development Goals due to its belief in social responsibility and its role in supporting youth initiatives and promote ideas of communication and cooperation between individuals and various community institutions, in addition to enhancing awareness and increasing interaction on the goals of sustainable development.

It is noteworthy that the SDG Ambassadors Initiative is a community initiative that seeks to raise awareness and knowledge of young generations about the sustainable development goals through launching events and initiatives so that they become ambassadors who lead the change in their societies in line with the goals of the development vision approved by the United Nations.
