Al Jazeera Media Institute is going to organize a webinar on Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Newsrooms in English language.

British expert Tim Robinson is going to lecture on this webinar on Tuesday 11 December.
Through this webinar, trainees will explore the impact of generative AI on journalism, the evolution of AI technologies and its relevant applications such as ChatGPT and Dall-E, in addition to the use of AI in newsrooms around the world. The webinar will also shed light on risks related to AI, responsible reporting, and the need for establishing ethical policies in journalism.
At the end of this webinar, trainees will learn about the historical development of artificial intelligence technologies and their impact on the newsroom, as well as learning about artificial intelligence different applications currently used by media organizations. Trainees will also acquire the ability to analyze the impact of latent and inherent biases in training data outputs resulting from artificial intelligence, and how to verify the existing ethical policies in media organizations.

Each participant will receive participation certificate from Al Jazeera Media Institute.
