The Institute winded up 4 training workshops in Katara Summer Camp

Al Jazeera Media Institute winded up four training workshops during the first week of Katara Summer Camp from July 23 to July 31. The training workshops were led by Institute’s media experts amid great interaction and turnout of young age groups where the number of participants in the four workshops reached nearly a hundred participants.

On July 23, Iman Al-Obaidi led "Self-Confidence" workshop to more than 40 young participants that recorded a great presence and interaction, Al-Obaidi said: "We shed light on the definition of self-confidence and methods of acquiring self-confidence through practical exercises to what was learned in the first part of the workshop.

Trainer Malak Khalil led "Young presenter" workshop on July 24 said: The workshop included practical training on how to read texts properly, whether being poetry or normal language text, given that this step was preceded by introducing them to the nature of media environment, with a specific focus and concentration on TV presentation.

For her part, Jana Al-Muslimani trained "Video Making" workshop, where she explained that the workshop was designed to enable young age groups learn the basics of photography and how to create a meaningful video content along with fun, in addition to awareness of the necessary ethical rules for creating video content for various communication platforms.

She went further to say “I was pleased to lead this course, and so as my other trainer colleagues, within the framework of Aljazeera Ambassadors’ Initiative as we feel that we contribute in spreading Aljazeera Media Culture among young age groups with the aim to help them discover video making tactics and to develop their own technical and creative skills as we believe this age group represents a very important community segment

Iman Al-Obaidi concluded the contribution of the Institute in the first week of the camp with "Personal Styles Workshop", which was attended by 50 participants, where she covered the types of character, their division, how to deal with them, and how to utilize skills associated with each character style in the appropriate field, and giving a relevant example for interactive exercises.

It is worth noting that training workshops in the Camp are held on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays of each week until the 15th of next August, on the southern side of the Cultural Village "Katara" from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
