Podcast Diploma graduates 7 trainees

In a ceremony attended by the director of Al Jazeera Media Institute Eman Al Ameri the Institute graduated seven Podcast Diploma participants who have the zeal and interest to develop their skills and to polish their content to utilize this medium for their own podcasts. 

Participants hailed the benefits they achieved and fun they enjoyed during training time. The trainee, Khalaf Al-Khalaf, one of the participants, said: "The future is for podcasts and I want to use this tool to introduce others to local Qatari literature."  

In turn, diploma graduate Amal Al-Farsi, from her personal experience, invites everyone to join this diploma, saying: "I saw a big difference in my performance when I joined the program from the first day until my graduation today; the amount of information and experience is "great" in addition to mastering necessary and appropriate skills that enable you to provide a professional podcast content.

The diploma was launched on May 20 for eighteen days, under the supervision of media expert Fadi Matar, a renowned training officer in Arab countries at the France Médias Monde Academy in Paris, and Abdul Karim Awir, a producer and communication officer in the podcast department of the digital sector of Al Jazeera Media Network. 

The diploma program included practical training and adopted genuine accredited methods used in editing podcast content, and writing for the ear. It also shed light on the relationship of audio text to sound and the art of conversation in addition to the elements, structure and the point of view of audiovisual story, and how to insert numbers and dates in podcast text.
