Students of Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers of Qatar University visit studios of AJMI

Al Jazeera Media Institute received a new group of students from Arabic Language Center for Non-Native Speakers of Qatar University, in a field visit to learn about services offered by the Institute and to get in touch with real media practical experience.
The visit represents an unprecedented opportunity for students studying topics related to various media content preparation from print media to podcasts. Visiting students were given a chance to practice training activities such as standing in front of camera and learning about studio work environment.
During their visit to studios, students seized the opportunity to ask many questions related to media production stages, and showed enthusiastic interaction with models presented to them. Moreover, some expressed their interest in joining future field practical training opportunities.
At the end of the visit, they discussed possibilities of organizing specialized workshops in cooperation between the Institute and the Center to enhance learning practical media skills to reinforce and support academic context.
This visit is part of a series of events usually organized by the institute in cooperation with educational institutions in order to introduce students to real media environment and skills and tools required to thrive in this field.
