AJMI – Doha

This year, Al Jazeera Media Institute is organizing a number of specialized courses in the Republic of Iraq in cooperation with the Kurdistan Media Foundation, including TV presentation course and field reporter course.

The TV presentation course will be led by Media trainer Fida Bassil from 4 to 8th of June. The course includes a number of themes that enable trainees to identify the basics of the work of the presenter, its relationship with the editorial and technical staff, how to deal with the auto-cue, necessary qualities he must possess such as good presence, sound voice performance and language integrity and expression.

Field reporter course covers a number of topics related to the work of reporters, starting from good preparation, collecting data necessary for the report along with the techniques of writing to the picture and up to the piece to camera and its related techniques and standards.
