AJMI - Doha

Al Jazeera Media Institute is set to launch five new courses in journalism and creative media in November, providing an opportunity for professionals and beginners to develop their skills in audiovisual journalism and creative fields.

Listed courses include: Investigative Program Production, Creative TV Report, Screen Design, Media Discourse Analysis and TV Documentary Production. All courses will be trained by a group of experts from Al- Jazeera in cooperation with accredited international partners.

Al Jazeera Media Institute has previously conducted in-depth studies and meetings with specialists to meet the needs of the local and international labor market in order to offer new courses that were not previously offered, due to its commitment to providing specialized training programs in line with the latest developments in media landscape.

With regard to the new courses, investigative journalism is considered one of the main tools for revealing facts and promoting transparency, while Creative TV Report course aims to enhance journalists' skills in delivering innovative reports that attract viewers. Screen design is an essential element of modern visual media, while media discourse analysis focuses on understanding and interpreting media messages. As for TV documentary production course, it targets those interested in telling real life stories in a creative and impactful way.

It is worth mentioning that launching these new courses comes to reinforce the success achieved by the Institute in providing high-level training programs and due to the fact that previous courses held succeeded in qualifying many media professionals who are now occupying prestigious positions in large media institutions.
