Al Jazeera Media Institute launches "Terminology"

Al Jazeera Media Institute has launched a new educational program under the umbrella of “Media Knowledge” that it shares with followers on social networks and visitors to its website.

The program carries the name “Terminology” and it comes along within a number of educational programs launched by Al Jazeera Media Institute to coincide with the twentieth anniversary of its founding. The program aims to explain and simplify some concepts and terms that are commonly used in media in certain contexts, such as oligarchy, white elephant, pressure groups and others.
The program consists of twelve episodes that are going to be published periodically on the Institute's various official digital platforms, the first episode was aired last Thursday, January 4, and dealt with the term plutocracy.
The program is presented by Mohamed Nasra, presenter of Al Jazeera Mubasher Channel, and was technically supervised and edited by Ahmed Sidi, a producer at Al Jazeera Media Institute and filmed and directed by the production unit of Al Jazeera Media Institute.
The Institute used to provide educational content through its platforms and prior to that it launched "Voice and Diction" program presented by Media expert Salem Al-Jahwashi, and “Presenter Appearance” program presented by presenter Rawaa Ogeh.
