Al Jazeera Media Institute continues to deliver its training programs throughout the coming month of July, offering a package of 22 specialized courses in media, communication, and public relations. All courses are delivered in Arabic language at the Institute’s headquarters in Doha, alongside a number of remote and evening courses designed to accommodate needs of professionals and aspiring practitioners across the region.

These courses are led by a distinguished group of Institute trainers and industry specialists, including Mohammed Ahadad, Ali Al Ajmi, Reema Arab, Jamal Al Mulaiki, Mohammed Al Zaanin, Munther Abu Sweireh, Fadi Matar, Hassan Jammoul, Dr. Mohammed Al Baqali, Iyad Al Dawood, Amal Al Arisi, Mohammed Hussein, Mohammed Dawood, Mohammed Omar, Hassan Khudari, and Dr. Arwa Al Kaabi, in addition to trainer Abdullah Joudat. Together, they reinforce the Institute’s position as a leading training platform that brings together diverse professional expertise in media and communication.

The first week of July features a range of basic courses and short workshops tailored to fit the needs of newsrooms, media organizations, and communication departments. The program begins with an evening workshop on Visual Storytelling for TikTok on July 5, alongside two evening courses from July 5–9, the first one on “News Report Writing” led by journalist Mohammed Ahadad, and the second one on “Public Relations Campaign Planning” led by Ali Al Ajmi. Participants can also join “Protocol and Etiquette course” with Reema Arab from July 5–9. The same week additionally includes a remote course on “News Verification in Times of War and Disinformation” with Mohammed Al Zaanin from July 7–9, as well as ‘Negotiation and Persuasion Skills’ couse with Dr. Abdullah Joudat, providing participants with practical tools for verification and effective communication.

The second week, running from July 12–16, focuses on developing training skills in broadcasting and digital media. Highlights include “Training of Trainers” evening course delivered by Jamal Al Mulaiki, “Preparation and Presentation of Radio Programs” evening course led by Fadi Matar, and “Lightroom” evening course with Munther Abu Sweireh for professionals working in photography and image processing. The Institute, in the same week, also offers two editions of “Digital Campaign Management program”, one held on-site at Institute Headquarters and the other delivered remotely from July 12 to 16. In addition to an evening workshop on “Breaking News Coverage” on July 14, led by media professional Hassan Jammoul, focusing on professional response strategies for rapidly evolving events across television and digital platforms.

The third week, starting from July 19, features a package of advanced courses that cover television production, youth-focused learning and communication skills. Dr. Mohammed Al Baqali delivers “Television Report Production” from July 19–23, followed by “Mobile Journalism for Youth” led by Iyad Al Dawood from July 19–21. Then “Podcasting for Youth” course delivered by Amal Al Arisi from July 19–23, focusing on developing audio content production skills. Courses continue to include “Television Directing in Newsrooms” with Mohammed Hussein from July 19–30, “Advanced Media Relations Skills” led by Mohammed Dawood from July 19–21, and “Detecting AI-Generated Content” remote course with Hassan Khudari from July 20–22, addressing emerging challenges in verifying content authenticity in the digital environment.

The final week of July corresponding to the 26th., featuring specialized pathways in presentation skills and visual expression. Starting by “Body Language for Broadcasters” course led by Mohammed Omar Hassan from July 26–30, designed to boost non-verbal communication skills for on-screen appearance. Running concurrently with “Art of Montage” led Munther Abu Sweireh, focusing on visual construction and audiovisual rhythm in television and digital content. Finally, the month concluded by “Media Skills for Public Relations” remote course, delivered by Ali Al Ajmi from July 27–29, and “Artificial Intelligence in Data Journalism” remote course, delivered remotely by Dr. Arwa Al Kouli from July 28–30, to provede newsroom and research-center professionals with modern tools for data analysis and journalistic storytelling powered by AI technologies.
