"The Language of Media" series reaps 99,000 views on Institute's digital platforms

Al Jazeera Media Institute launched through its digital platforms during the last holy month, an educational series titled "The Language of Media", which aims to polish and develop linguistic and editorial skills of media employees, where this series achieved more than 99,000 views.

The series was produced by “Learn Arabic” team and designed by “Digital Platform” team of the Institute. The series focus to link its educational content with the news and current affairs and accordingly applies theoretical material to current news and events circulating on screens of Arab and international channels, showing examples of differences in using some vocabularies and phrases and their linguistic connotations and editorial uses and their impact on recipient.

This series comes within the vision of Al Jazeera Media Network to preserve the Arabic language as an important component of the Arab identity and the main medium for the communication and circulation of news between the network and its viewers in the Arab world.

The episode, (Law above all), achieved the highest views among the episodes of the series, where it reaped 10,000 views on various pages of the Institute platforms on social media.
