Students of the Philippine School: The visit to the Institute “opened up new professional horizons for us”
Al Jazeera Media Institute welcomed 32 high school students from the Philippine School in Doha over the course of two days, in an educational visit aimed at introducing them to the media field, its key professions and importance of media literacy.
AJMI hosts reception on the sidelines of the GIJ conference
On Friday, 20 November, Al Jazeera Media Institute (AJMI) hosted a reception for more than 70 journalists and representatives of international media organisations, on the sidelines of the Global Investigative Journalism Conference in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. The event aimed to showcase the institute’s activities and initiatives in advancing journalistic practice, particularly investigative journalism, through its training programmes and knowledge outputs.
AJMI launches 8 Arabic language courses for 93 learners from 38 nationalities
As part of its ongoing efforts to teach and spread Arabic language among non-native speakers around the world, Al Jazeera Media Institute launched eight new courses within its “Learn Arabic” program. These courses covered five levels, from beginner to advanced, with a total participation of 93 students from 38 nationalities across various continents.
