“Artificial Intelligence in Media”, a new blended course at AJMI
Al Jazeera Media Institute is launching this year its first blended training course under the title “Artificial Intelligence in Media,” scheduled to take place from May 3rd. to May 5th. The course falls under the newly introduced category of “Blended training programs”, developed in response to the rapid transformations in the media industry and the growing need of journalists and media professionals for mastering AI tools along with their professional and ethical applications.
Colombian Ambassador to Qatar visits Al Jazeera Media Institute
Ms. Iman Al Amri, Director of Al Jazeera Media Institute, received Mrs. Odette Yidi David, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the State of Qatar, on an introductory visit aimed at exploring Institute’s programs, training services and technical facilities. The visit was marked by openness and a shared interest in media experiences, with discussions highlighting the role of training in building more professional journalism capable of understanding diverse contexts.
AJMI reinforces “Multicultural work environment” through courses of “Learn Arabic” Program
In a step that reflects Al Jazeera Network’s commitment to developing its employee skills and fostering a multicultural workplace, “Learn Arabic” program at Al Jazeera Media Institute has launched specialized courses for non-Arabic-speaking staff. The initiative aims to empower participants to use Arabic language confidently in everyday work contexts to enhance their integration into Arab environment.
