4 grants for journalists to attend Investigative Journalism Global Forum
Al Jazeera Media Institute, in cooperation with the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN), announces the opening of applications for four fully paid scholarships, dedicated to journalists from Arab countries or Arabic language speakers, to participate in the Global Investigative Forum for Journalism GIJC25, planned to be held in Kuala Lumpur next November.
35.8% increase in demand for "Learn Arabic" program
During the first half of this year, interactive "Learn Arabic" program of Al Jazeera Media Institute held 12 courses attracted 114 students from 23 nationalities, which reflects a remarkable jump in the number of trainees representing an increase of 35.8% compared to the same period last year, where only 84 trainees attended the same number of courses.
60 trainees completed courses in AI data stories in Istanbul
Media for Development initiative of Aljazeera Media Institute, completed three specialized training courses on AI-enhanced data stories for sixty trainees, in total, in Istanbul, including twenty-five journalists in partnership with Tafned initiative.
