AJMI offers more than 180 evening courses and workshops in 2026

Al Jazeera Media Institute is offering more than one hundred and eighty (180) evening training courses and workshops throughout the year 2026, covering various media and professional training tracks. These programs fall under fourteen main categories designed to meet the needs of journalists, professionals, employees of different institutions, as well as students and youth groups.

Evening courses and workshops started early January and will continue throughout the year according to a progressive training plan that combines programs in both Arabic and English languages. Enrollment is open to public inside and outside Qatar through both in-person and remote training options.

This program expansion comes within the framework of the Institute’s strategic direction to enrich its evening programs in line with the busy schedules of employees across sectors, enabling them to develop their skills during off-work hours through flexible training opportunities that accommodate for different schedules and expand access to training services within and beyond Qatar. Through these programs, the Institute further reinforces its position as a leading Arab platform for specialized media training keeping pace with digital transformations and artificial intelligence technologies, and through launching diplomas and in-depth tracks in journalism, digital production, corporate communication, public relations and media leadership.

These evening courses and workshops cover a wide range of fields, including television news, talk shows, and sports presentation; radio and television program production and presentation; digital media diplomas, field media diplomas and media presence diplomas; as well as specializations in artificial intelligence in media, media ethics, combating disinformation, and open-source investigations. Programs also cover other areas such as podcasting, features production, audio storytelling production, directing, cinematography, sound engineering, and editing using professional software such as DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Premiere and Final Cut, in addition to mobile content design and editing, screen design, and visual information design.

Training content diversity is also reflected in short, hands-on workshops on digital identity, press releases and reports writing, editorial standards, crisis management on digital platforms, digital marketing, campaign management, public relations management, brand image building and reputation management, media skills for public relations, as well as leadership and creative management tracks, executive coaching, emotional intelligence, change and innovation management, project management, and corporate communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.

The Institute also offers specialized programs for youth in areas such as Future Presenter, Podcasting for Youth, Story Writing, Mobile Photography, Theatrical Performance and Voice Focus, alongside technical courses in design and editing software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva and Illustrator, reflecting variety of target audience and richness of evening training program of this year.

Enrollment in evening courses and workshops is currently available on Al Jazeera Media Institute website based on vacancy availability for each program. These programs will be offered throughout the year, with training options in both Arabic and English, open to various audience inside and outside Qatar, given that admission priority is granted on first-come, first-served basis.
