On Wednesday , 10 December, Al Jazeera Media Institute and Middle East Council for International Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in capacity building and implementing joint training programs.

Al Jazeera Media Institute announced today, in a press conference, the launch of its 2026 training plan, revealing a qualitative expansion in its programs represented by implementation of 294 training courses covering 155 specialized titles, including 42 new titles and 58 courses delivered in English language, in addition to 6 blended courses offered simultaneously on-site and online. Training program falls under 13 training categories that reflect the Institute’s vision for developing media skills of professionals and keeping pace with rapid digital transformations.
