AJMI - Doha

As part of the Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative, Al Jazeera Media Institute (AJMI) held a training workshop titled “Public Speaking Skills” on Thursday, 24 September 2026, for members of Qatar Community College. The workshop was delivered by media professional Mohamed Mizaimiz.

The workshop covered fundamentals of effective communication and building confidence while speaking, as well as techniques for organizing ideas, crafting messages, and delivering them with clarity and impact. It also addressed audience engagement skills and ways of handling different situations during presentations and live speaking engagements.

The workshop brought together 24 participants and featured notable interaction and engagement. Participants discussed importance of these skills in educational and professional settings, highlighting their role in fostering confident self-expression and effective communication.

The workshop forms part of Al Jazeera Media Institute’s ongoing cooperation with educational and community institutions, contributing to development of professional skills and promoting a culture of impactful communication.
