Media partnership between AJMI and Akhlaquna Award

A media partnership between Al Jazeera Media Institute and “Akhlaquna Award” was announced at the headquarters of Al Jazeera Media Institute duri ng a press conference held on this occasion on Wednesday, September 25, in the presence of the leaders of the two institutions and local media.

In his speech on this occasion, Mr. Hamad Al-Marri, Director of Planning and Projects Department at Al Jazeera Media Institute, expressed his pride in this cooperation, saying, "We are proud to renew cooperation with Akhlaquna initiative, not only because this partnership reflects the success of the past year, but also because it highlights our shared commitment to spread noble values and enhancing media role in serving society.

 Al Marri added, "Our relationship with Akhlaquna initiative is not new, but extends back a year ago, and we are confident that this cooperation will continue to achieve successes in promoting ethical values in local and Gulf communities."

Al-Marri stressed that partnership with Akhlaquna Award adheres to the basic principles of media work adopted by Aljazeera Institute, such as integrity, transparency, and credibility, and went further to say "These values are not just slogans, but are the basic principles that guide us in all our media work."

Ms. Maryam Al-Hajri, Director of Partnerships and Strategy at Qatar Foundation's Office of Pre-University Education, praised the positive cooperation between the Institute and Akhlaquna Award, stressing that this collaboration contributed to the success of the previous awareness campaign launched by the Initiative.

She pointed out that the partnership, this year, will witness the launch of a new campaign under the slogan "Our Compassion is Strength", which focuses on promoting the virtue of mercy in the society through a set of values such as harmony and volunteering.

Al Hajri added, "As part of this year's cooperation, it was agreed to produce a series of short awareness videos that will be published on social media platforms, in addition to comprehensive media coverage of all the activities of Akhlaquna initiative.

Al Hajri concluded her speech by praising the role of Al Jazeera Institute in facilitating cooperation and supporting community initiatives, saying, "We extend our sincere thanks to Aljazeera Institute for its continuous support, which reflects its keenness and commitment to enhance cooperation with institutions in the state of Qatar to achieve common societal goals."
