AJMI organizes a training course on role of media professionals in combating corruption

Al Jazeera Media Institute, in cooperation with Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, organized a training course on the role of media professionals in combating corruption.
The course lasted for five days and was attended by 15 participants from Qatari journalists, media professionals and writers.
The course was delivered by journalist Musab Al-Shawabkeh, discussed many topics related to investigative journalism, of research methods for corruption cases, including theoretical lessons on corruption and related international conventions. The course provided a wide theatre for free discussions and a good choice on graduation projects, allowing participants to develop suitable plans for journalistic investigations related to corruption cases.
Many participants expressed their happiness with the knowledge they received as writer Amal Abdul Malik said: The training course was excellent, and I benefited a lot from it, and we also exchanged knowledge experiences with course presenter and participating colleagues.
This course is part of Institute's and Administrative Control and Transparency Authority ongoing commitment to developing skills of journalists and media professionals in Qatar, focusing on important issues, and providing journalists and writers with the necessary tools and knowledge to achieve integrity and transparency in society.
