On Thursday morning, Al Jazeera Media Institute welcomed H.E. Mr. Varlam Avaliani, Ambassador of Georgia to the State of Qatar. He was received by Ms. Eman Al Amri, Director of the Institute, and Ms. Hessa Boudheesh, Director of Planning and Projects.

During the visit, discussions focused on the role of specialized training in developing media competencies and enhancing of practitioners’ professionalism across media sector at both local and international levels. The Ambassador was also introduced to training experience of the Institute and programs designed for media professionals and media enthusiasts from within Qatar and off-border, in addition to courses tailored for both beginners and experienced practitioners, in addition to the rich reservoir of diverse learning pathways designed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical application.

The Ambassador toured the Institute’s studios and explored its hands-on training environment, including newsrooms, television and radio studios, and the advanced technical facilities used to simulate real-environment media production settings.
