Four training workshops, consultation sessions, and live readings by AJMI at the Book Fair

As part of Al Jazeera Media Institute’s participation in Al Jazeera Media Network pavilion at the 35th. session of Doha International Book Fair, the Institute delivered four specialized training workshops targeting media enthusiasts and content creators. The activities drew remarkable attendance and engagement from visitors, alongside six individual consultation sessions and live readings that highlighted testimonies of journalists and correspondents in Gaza, which documented by the Institute in a book carries the title “We Alone Covered the War.”
Live reading segment concluded on the final day with an interactive competition inspired by the content of a publication. Questions revolved around Al Jazeera Network, the book itself, and the experiences of journalists and correspondents in Gaza who lost their lives while covering the aggression. The session also served as a tribute to their sacrifices and introduced audiences to their professional and human stories.

The workshops explored a variety of media-related themes, including two presentation-focused workshops, “The Young Presenter” and “Television Presentation,” in addition to workshops on “Mobile Filmmaking” and “Podcast Storytelling.” These sessions were led by a distinguished group of trainers and experts from the Institute such as: Mohammed Mizaimiz, Amaal Al Araisi, Ahmed Taha, and Samir Malek, each in his respective field.
More than 150 male and female participants from different age groups and interests took part in these workshops, which emphasized the importance of practical and interactive learning while shedding light on pathways toward professional excellence.

The workshops provided attendees with an intensive training experience that introduced them to the foundations of media work and its modern skills.
Participants praised content quality, presentation workshop level, and workshops interactive atmosphere, expressing their interest in joining future training courses and workshops held at the headquarters of the Institute after they see and touch the high training standards and diversity of specializations offered.

This participation comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the Institute to reinforce engagement with media enthusiasts by offering interactive training environments that keep pace with the rapid transformations in digital media and content creation.
